About Us
Immersed in the landscape of the Eryri National Park
Rhyd-y-Creuau is a historic Georgian country house built in the early 1800s, set in the beautiful landscape of the Snowdonia National Park. Cascading rivers and wooded hillsides provide a rugged backdrop to the centre, yet it is close to Snowdonia's glaciated valleys, rocky shores, beaches and traditional seaside resorts. The 2.2 hectare estate includes a football pitch, woodland, biodiversity garden, a stream, campfire area & two ponds.
The center is popular with those wishing to explore the mountains and adventure activities of the Snowdonia National Park which surrounds the centre.
All types of bookings are welcome at Rhyd-y-Creuau including singles, couples, groups of adults, families and extended family groups. However, please note that we do not accept stag or hen parties. Groups have the option to book B&B, Full Board or it is possible to rent out the whole center on a self-catering basis. There is also a range of break rooms, meeting rooms and classrooms available for group use.
We are within a 30 minute walk of Betws y Coed village and 100 yards from the Zip World Fforest attractions and also located within a 30-40 minute car ride to the coastal areas of North Wales, Llandudno, Colwyn Bay, Rhyl and Northwest Wales's Harlech, Barmouth & Black Rock Sands or Anglesey's beautiful beaches, to name just a few. You could also visit Portmeirion village or the Slate Museum in Llanberis.
Rhyd-y-Creuau can offer group accommodation, corporate venue hire and conference facilities suitable for many different events or meetings. We also welcome enquiries from industry professionals in film or television to source a filming location.
The facilities at our centre and its location means that we are able to provide everything that you need to host a successful retreat, social event, gathering or conference.

We are able to take payment by the following means:

Accommodates: 100
Bedrooms: 32
Note: We can accommodate 99 & have 32 bedrooms - 19 are ensuite - the majority of which are twin or bunk bedded rooms for two. We do have a selection of three, four, five, eight and ten bedded rooms too.
Car Parking: There is a large car park.
Children's Facilities: We have games and activities on-site for children aged 8+; however, younger children are welcome.
Disabled Access: The location has limited disabled access.
Games Room: There is a pool table, football table, and table tennis table
Hot and Cold Drinks: We have hot and cold drinks making facilities accessible around the centre.
Kitchen: available only for Self Catering bookings
Library: We have a library which can seat up to 30 people.
Linen: All bedding is provided. Please strip your beds on departure.
Lounge: We have an adult lounge area with comfy sofas.
Outdoor Facilities: Extensive range of on-site and off-site activities.
Wi-Fi: Free guest Wi-Fi is available throughout the centre.
Workrooms: Available only upon request there are four rooms seating from 18 - 30 people which include whiteboards and projectors
