About Us
Set in the traditional Welsh village of Trefriw in the picturesque Conwy Valley, near Betws-y-Coed, Crafnant House is the perfect choice for where to stay when visiting this area.
Trefriw
Maybe you haven’t heard of Trefriw, but it is an undiscovered gem and one of the best places to stay in this beautiful part of Wales – a quiet, rural idyll where you can get away from it all for a relaxing weekend break or holiday, yet just 5 miles north of Betws-y-Coed.
Our bedrooms
We have five guest bedrooms for you to choose from, and our Victorian home has been decorated in a modern, boutique style with unique touches and art throughout, whilst showcasing original period features.
Breakfast
Breakfast is served to you each morning in our dining room and is always freshly prepared by ourselves using locally sourced Welsh produce and ingredients wherever possible.
Maybe try our ‘daily special’ when you stay with us – think fluffy pancakes, Welsh cheddar omelettes, waffles, French toast and more!
Dining out
For dining out in the evening there are two pubs and two restaurants just a short walk away – the wonderful Old Ship pub is right next door!
Things to know
Off-street car parking (including EV charging) is available, along with bike storage, and our guest ‘snug’, upstairs sitting room and riverside landscaped garden are places for you to relax in.
