About Us

Tyn Y Fron is a two bedroomed cottage in Betws Y Coed enjoying a peaceful setting which is central to Snowdonia and all of North Wales. It was built in the 1860's as a coach house and artist's studio, converted into a holiday cottage in the 1980's and was completely renovated in December 2016. The cottage has been awarded a 4* rating by Visit Wales. Tyn Y Fron is a short 7 minute walk into the village centre where there are local shops, pubs and restaurants as well as the station and buses if you want to leave the car behind.

The cottage sleeps 4 adults with a large double room with a king size bed and a cosy twin. There is also space for a travel cot for an infant if required. There is gas-fired central heating to radiators throughout with a comfortable lounge, and a well fitted kitchen and bathroom. The bedrooms are on the ground floor with the rest of the acommodation on the first floor to take in the views of the garden and valley.

Free Wifi is available in the cottage.

The cottage has its own patio with table and chairs and use of the garden shared with the B and B.

Our normal change over day is Friday for week long bookings. We also offer short breaks of 3 nights from Friday and 4 nights from Monday. These are generally available from late Autumn to March but do check with us since we can offer these breaks at other times of the year at short notice.
